Prices

I offer free dental check ups to all clients. Reduced rates apply for large bookings.

Routine Dental - £50
This is the routine treatment that your horse has every 6 months to one year depending on its age. A full Dental Chart at the end of each treatment is given. Price may be more if your horse has not had dentistry for more than 2 years.

Incisor Correction - £20 - £30
This is performed if the horse has an incisor malocclusion either due to uneven wear of the teeth or differing eruption rates of the incisors. These include incisor wedge, ventral curvature (smile), dorsal curvature (frown), overbite (parrot mouth) and underbite (sow mouth). Price varies on severity. The horse must be sedated for this procedure and a full dental chart is given at the end of each treatment.

Remedial Dentistry - £60 - £80
This is if your horse has any large malocclusions of both the incisors and cheek teeth and if the mouth needs re-balancing increasing the horses performance and grinding efficiency. The horse must be sedated and includes incisor correctment. Price varies on severity. A full dental chart is given at the end of each treatment.

Removal of wolf teeth (per tooth)- £10 - £15

Tools

The majority of my work is carried out using battery powered equine specific instruments, although I still use hand floats also. For an explaination on why this instrumentation is beneficial for the horse, see the 'information' section.

Area Coverage:

I am based in Priddy, Somerset and on a daily basis can cover a 40-50 mile radius (Somerset, Wiltshire, Avon, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Stroud). However, I also travel to Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

If you have a large yard of horses (7+) then I can travel within a 70 mile radius of Somerset. Either phone or email me with enquiries and we can discuss when I will be in the area.
